Insurance Agency Intern

We are a collaborative, forward-thinking, and technology driven growing agency, searching for enthusiastic, results-oriented people to add to our team. We are in search of an intern or entry level admin who can wear many hats to help get systems in place for future growth. To accomplish this you will need to be comfortable with technology.

The position is important to the day-to-day operations and long-term goals of the Agency, with responsibilities that are varied and vital. You will have exposure to all facets of the agency. A strong work ethic and the desire to learn are a must!

We are looking for someone to start as an intern with a goal to develop into a permanent employee or an entry level position that will grow as we grow. We are located in downtown Los Angeles. This will be hybrid in office / work from home position. In office will be 1-2 days per week.


  • Assists with electronic file set-up and management
  • Supports all departments with projects for exposure to all facets of agency
  • Assists client service team with daily tasks to support the service of clients and prospects
  • Issues certificates, processes endorsements and invoices
  • Updates and enters information in agency management system
  • Attends and participates in agency meetings, including training sessions and carrier meetings
  • Answers phone, routes call or handles calls if possible
  • Must be positive and upbeat with a focus on service


  • Up to two 2 years of work-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including great listening skills
  • Good analytical, problem-solving and time management skills
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to adapt to programs quickly
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated
  • Interested in a career in the insurance industry
